David began playing golf in high school and quickly fell in love with the game. After high school, David enrolled in the PGM Program at New Mexico State University. During summer breaks, he worked at prestigious golf clubs in Hawaii, California, and Colorado. Upon graduation, David worked as a Golf Professional at The King Kamehameha Golf Club in Maui for four years.
After a short stint of playing professionally in Australia and Asia, David returned to become a golf professional at Northmoor Country Club in Chicago, IL. In 2016, David left Chicago to become the Head Golf Professional at Kahili Golf Course in Maui, Hawaii.
David is excited to return to Austin, where in 2012 he helped expand Golf in Schools programs, training to open his own Golf in Schools chapter in Chicago. David's Golf in Schools program grew to over 25 schools in the Chicago Area.
David is a former student of Manuel de la Torre, the first ever recipient of the PGA Teacher of the Year award. David's familiarity with the club-focused principles Manuel preached, and are taught at the Golf School team, make him a natural fit to the team. David is determined to maintain the standard of exceptional instruction at The Golf School and is looking forward to using his knowledge and experience to help golfers better enjoy the game.

Nicholas teaches people of all ages to love the game of golf. He began training under the tutelage of Aaron Bergman in 2013, adopting the swing principles and philosophy of PGA Hall of Fame instructor, Manuel de la Torre. Following in Aaron's footsteps, Nicholas taught the National Golf Team of Nepal during his travels in the spring of 2016.
With over 10 years of training and practice in the Yogic sciences, Nicholas helps his students see the powerful connections between mindfulness and golf. He is committed to helping people ignite their creativity through "playing in the present moment" and he believes golf is a perfect game to develop focus and create awareness in a fun and natural environment.
Sales, Marketing & Business Development - The Golf School
Sam recently joined our team and is looking forward to working to achieve our overall mission of growing the game of golf. Prior to joining The Golf School, Sam earned his B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, Sam provided consulting services to various small businesses in the Austin area. As an amateur golfer that competes in local Austin-area events, Sam undoubtedly brings a passion for the game of golf to our team.
